It tastes fine but I am wondering if anyone knows of any health risks at all or if it is completely fine.

youre kidding right? LA is not a third world country even though I guess parts of it seem that way.

L.A. water is disgusting! It tastes like the tar pits smell. Yuck! I would occasionally drink the tap water if I neglected my shopping --but why drink it when you can buy a litre of water for $1? I would only use the tap water for tea or for cooking.

It won't kill you, but it won't taste like Evian, either.
If you take a swallow to swallow some pills, you will be OK but I wouldn't drink like a quart of it.
