God isn't male. God isn't anything. Historically, those who wrote about God are male, and they interjected their own bias and opinions into their writings (ie, the Bible). God is incomprehensible, both immanent and transcendent. Human beings need an understandable model in which to imagine God. The most common model in western religions today is the Monarchical Model of God. This model pictures God as a far-away king, an authority figure, a distant father, a lawgiver, and a judge. God was imagined as a king like the kings of ancient times. Those kings were obviously male, so God is conceptualized as a male. However, there are other models of God, a popular one being the "Spirit Model," imagining God as the all-encompassing reality on earth, and beyond. There are female images associated with this model, including a mother, a lover (check out Song of Solomen), and Sophia, the Wisdom Woman, who remains in some orthodox bibles, as a personification of God's wisdom and also a metaphor for God.
PS- You're crude.

Depends on what religion you believe in, I believe in female Gods, but the christian religion does not. Some catholics kinda pray to Mary mother of God, but they aren't making her a God, that is a little fuzzy there. He is male because males wrote the book.

In the earlier times of our species, the male dominated over the female. We have obvious physical traits that make us stronger and more abled to survive the environment than females did in those times.
Yahweh was created in those times, and as such was referenced as a male.
This is not to say in the least bit that females are not as capable as males are. We are both just as capable mentally.

Do you have any rational, logical arguments to put forth, that might actually be worthy of debate, or are you really resting your eternity on ridiculous filth like this?
God is male because He told us to call him Father and He is the only God. Period.

John 4:24 states, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”
Genesis 1:26-27 says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His [own] image, in the image of God created he Him; male and female created He them.”
John 10:30. He says here, “I and [my] Father are one.”
Females are not or lesser quality than males, they are different. I rather like that about them.
