Most of it, yes, but not all of it. Sometimes one follows what they were raised to believe, and that would fit the scenario ... but once one becomes an adult and changes their belief, that is of their own free will and (usually) based on experience and investigation. Truth is only verified by individual experience.

Most religions, yes. The Christian religion has both significant and numerous historical facts, people and data that greatly prove it authentic nature. The catholic religion on the other hand is mostly made up- they create it as they go. if it was truthful, they wouldn't need peer pressure, now would they ? you don't need to argue with someone that the sky is typically blue or the sun is typically bright, just like the historical facts, people and events in the Bible. BUT, some are still too dumb to figure it out and accept the truth.

Umm no... Believe me, I wasnt longing for belonging before I became a christian. I had friends, fun, parties, everything... I lived with my boyfreind, we had a house, jobs, ect....
My then boyfriend (now husband) got saved, and we moved apart, got married the next month. I got pregnant, stopped working, lost a bunch of "freinds". Most people would think I am saying this negativly, but I am not, I love my life, and my freinds now, and my husband and my family, and most of all, God for saving me.
My point is that I was not looking to belong. I wasnt looking for it at all, and God saved my husband, then me. Its HARD to be a christian. I hate that everyone thinks it is so easy to give your life up to God. It is SO much easier to be a sheep and follow the world then to give up the sins of this world.
People really should consider how much more character and strenght people have that are christians, then non believers... You all are just following each other, we are standing out and fighting our natural nature to sin. Living right is hard, living like the world is easy.

Tradition is a big part of religion, but there's more to it than just that.

The only truth in religion is abstract and obvious. Like, "when you're nice to others, you feel better too".

No, my religion is truth, not just tradition. For some people, maybe.

I think it's just a tradition and if you want to find the truth you have to do the research and find it.

Pure religion is truth itself.
Tradition is simply the way we understand it, and live it.
