No christianity is on it's last crippled leg. Fewer and fewer people believe in the old sky daddy, and his ghost kiddy.

Science will overcome.

When God confused the languages close to 4000 years ago it was for a purpose. Now as we are approaching the final pages of the last chapter, ask yourself one question. If that act was permanent, why do you doubt him returning as told of in Revelations and throughout the bible isn't? Beyond signs and the obvious violence around us... Would you trust any human to be beyond reproach when it comes to ruling others? All we do is build up and break down on a continuous basis throughout the world. We declare a savior, we condemn a savior.... We say we need leadership and then we find fault. This can never be said of Jesus when he takes formal control very soon. You should take the opportunity to learn what he really teaches and perhaps even ask for a chance through prayer to get to know what the bible really teaches about the end times, which is now upon us. He will return, make certain he finds favor in how you welcome his arrival.

Well just the kind of question you would expect, from a none believer, and a science fiction junkie, your right about one thing, this world will be a lot different than it is now , but as a believer I don't think you'll be around to see, not that I think I'll live forever, in the natural anyways, Jesus is not a man that he should lie, lying is a thing that mankind has perfected, but it's the only thing that God can't do. that and break his promises, you maybe counting on freezing your head, for some later scientific break through, like kryagenics are some other false hope, but the only true hope lies in Jesus Christ, the bright an morning sun.

When Jesus returns, only the Father knows. Therefore, I'm assured of His return, no matter when. If I trust in God, I must trust in all His promises also and I DO. I, personally think His return is soon as the world is focused on Israel and if you study Revelation, prophecy, you'll see the signs all around us. In the next 5000 yrs, some of us will be thinking in hell and some of us, including myself will be thinking in heaven. Where will you be?--Think about that! Read Matt.24:36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father". Matt.24:32 +33 "Now learn.....Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door".

Yes because no matter how long it takes He will come. He is God and God does not lie. Neither is His time the same as our time. A thousand years can be like a day to Him while one of our days may be a thousand years to Him. However, He gives us clues to watch for. Israel returning to Her Homeland in 1948 was a huge Bible prophecy fulfilled. He said when you see all these signs (esp. as it affects Israel), look up, your redemption draweth nigh! I fully believe that Jesus is coming back in my lifetime, not 5000 years in the future.

JESUS(God, Christ, Messiah, Lord, Son, and Savior)
Mt 9:6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.
Mt 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
1Jn 3:5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
Heb 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

The way things are going, belief if God is in trouble.
It took one mother to get prayer out of the school system, and a small group of people to complain about the Christmas scenes and practices.
I believe God is alive and well and watching very carefully how we handle outselves and how strong our beliefs are.
He has given us the ability to choose, decide and act for ourselves.
Look what some have done.
I love God and I believe he never left us. What do you believe?

people in the thessalonian church thought that they had been left behind or missed Christ's second coming. that was 1,950 years ago!

the world always seems to be getting closer to the end, but who knows how much worse it will get before Christ's return. either way, it will happen, even if it takes another 200,000 years.
