When we are in the throes of passion and he about reaches his peak...and afterwards he can't stop clenching and unclenching his jaw...i thought sex was a stress releiever but he still continues to work his jaw afterwards.....Maybe he has TMJ? but this only occurs during and after sex.its weird....is this normal?

i think this question is more suited for a psychology or sex section. If he is doing it voluntarily then all the dental communtiy can do is give him a mouthguard to prevent wear. You have to find the underlying reason why this is happening. Talk to him about it.

never heard of it.. but i know that if he's clenching his jaws..
i did it alot (im female) due to stress.. and im actually going through acupuncture treatments for a bad knee but they helped with that (i dont know how it works... but it helped me reduce my jaw clenching moments).. LOL
the after sex part,, maybe ask his doctor?
