I've got a good place for you. There is a restaurant on Michigan Avenue called Bandera. They have live music and the window seats look over Michigan Avenue. It's not quiet, but a nice atmosphere for couples. Make sure to request a seat by the windows.

2 issues if i visit get 'em. the first is the turkey liver. Ever because i visit bear in mind i have gotten the turkey out of the freshly roasted chicken. i love liver, although many times fried or as liverwurst. although the in elementary words liver i pass for roasted is turkey liver. And from a Thanksgiving or Christmas chicken it really is a particular manage. Sprinkle somewhat salt on it and it really is a most suitable thanks to commence the day (also an particularly gentle breakfast pondering there is no longer extraordinarily a lot of it). the 2d is my mom's giblet gravy. that's scrumptious and is going on almost each and every thing. till very last 365 days for over 20 years used to spend Thanksgiving with the and there have been extremely some individuals who requested about it. no matter if she'd be bringing it or no longer. individuals wanted it there for the mashed potato, stuffing, squash, turkey, virtually something. If something replaced right into a touch dry or without style on went the giblet gravy.

Keywester (owned by Portillos) on Rt. 59 in Aurora/Naperville is awesome.

There's a huge fresh water fish tank between dining rooms and if you dine in "smoking" you will be dining under a large (fake) tree. That might sound cheesey, but if you visit the links I provided you can see photos of each of their dining rooms. There is also a waterfall room, deck views, a Havana room and a reef room. Excellent ambiance and the shrimp pasta is to die for.

You don't have to drink to enjoy Hemingways bar there. They have great live entertainment.

Neither one is far from Joliet.

Have fun!!!

Luigis (also owned by Portillos)

has piano music in it's bar
(Julians - http://www.juliansbar.com/ )
It is just south of Keywester, by the Meijers.
