i am 17 turning 18 soon, and my boyfriend is 16. I personally dont think there is really anything wrong with that. my friends look down at me for dating a younger guy, but age is just a number! right! I need yall's opinions! Thanks ahead of time!

It will matter sometimes, like when you want to go to the bar or such, but if you like him so much just take it a day at a time and not worry about the age right now.

you know why,people would prefer older guys dating younger women because women based on studies are two years ahead in terms of maturity than men.so,in your case, your boyfriend is not only two years younger than you but it's actually four.

If he's mature enough and treats you right, I wouldn't worry so much about it. It's not a huge age different. Tell your friends to mind their own business, they aren't the ones dating him.
