I want to ask a previous co-worker to a dance that is on May 4th. We don't really hang out, so I figured that I should hang out with her a couple of times before the dance. But when should I ask her, is it too soon already?

Furthermore, we have a lot in common, and I think that she likes me, but it is kind of weird. My dad introduced us. If that helps at all, tell me what you think.

Ask her now, and cancel the night before the dance.

i think it is still too early... hang-out first so you would assess everything first. i mean, a lot of things might happen between now and before may 4th. so give some time first...

The people in my village have a saying 'It is better to take an inevitable faith earlier than later' just ask her,it doesn't matter when you ask , her answer will be the same.and mind you if you ask now and she says no then you can look for someone else if possible.Good luck.

I'd would wait until April
Who knows things could change a lot.

Just make sure you keep in touch with her all the way through
