the simplest thing for me is to use coconut oil...i straighten my hair a lot and so my hair is constantly really dry...i should use it more often (like every day for around 10 mins to an hour to soak before you shower--omigosh that rhymed) but after i spend a whole saturday or sunday with it soaking, it feels really soft and silky after i wash it out...you can get coconut oil at any indian store...lots of people recommend parachute brand (comes in a blue bottle) but i find the smell nauseating (it smells like sausage to me) so i buy the swam (or something liek that) that comes in the glass jar b/c it doesn't have a smell to mix with my american shampoo

*For thicker and healthier hair, steep 1/2 cup rosemary leaves in 1 cup water. Add the infusion to 1/2 bottle of your favorite shampoo and wash once a day.
*Rosemary promotes thicker, healthier hair by unclogging pores and hair follicles, and also adds great shine. *Rosemary tea, drank once per day, promotes better circulation and also aids in better hair growth.
*To prevent frizziness, apply a frizz aid product and let hair air dry.
*To make your hair really shine, rinse it in cold water for a couple minutes
*For blondes, to make hair lighter, apply lemon or lemon juice.
*Take an egg yolk and lather into wet hair. Leave in for a few minutes and it helps condition and adds protein, which helps against breakage and hair loss.

Put mayo in your hair and comb it, wrap your hair with a plastic bag to concentrate heat, and leave it in your hair for one hour. Then wash your hair really well, don't leave any trace of mayo in your hair (or it will smell like mayo). Olive oil works too.
