Cure? The only actual "CURE" is the one you asked smug non-single people not to write... and thank you for that!
But if you're asking what we use as a diversion for not feeling left out (or in my case, feeling bad for myself because I'm not in a relationship), I think I'm gonna make a valentines cake with my kids. We can all have a piece and watch a funny movie. Then after they're in bed and I get done cleaning the frosting off the floor and counters and walls and possibly the dog... I'll probably end up eating the rest of the damn cake by myself, throw up from eating too much cake, and then go to bed.
But that's just me :) lol Christmas is the tough one!

Seriously.. A good bottle of 20 year old scotch (Glenfeditch for example) and the company of my 30 Lb white pomeranian.. Oh and a good cigar or two as well...
and I raise my glass in toast to being single.. (3 years now and going on 4) and I thank my lucky stars for it.. I've been in a few relationships before.. there isnt much to miss in my estimation LOL... (really? tell me something??)
I like that movie idea.. I think i'll make it a point to watch the original B&W NIght of the Living Dead again on that day.. GOOD suggestion..
Frankly I dont think I need a 'CURE" being married xactly once pretty much CURED me LOL

It was invented by the greeting card companies, and every other company that profits from it. The point is, is to make you think you have to celebrate this day, so they can take your money. If you truly love your partner, then you give them gifts whenever you want, and not only when Valentine's day comes around. Same goes for every other holiday too.

You make it sound like being single on Valentines Day is a disease. Take the day to pamper yourself or hang out with other single friends, plus you never know who you might meet along the way. Enjoy!

Come on its just another normal day! Does being single 364 days and attach for this one day makes any different. how about have a day to celebrate a day for the single,so all those not single will feel just a little bit uncomfortable... If you really want to do something meaningful spent it with your family and tell them you that you appreciate them. As for today i will just live my life as normal.

Valentine's Day is not that important. It's just another day that greedy merchants use to make money. It's gotten way out of hand. I have a partner but we refuse to celebrate Val. Day on the 14th out of protest. We choose our own day. More meaningful. So, the chocolate and movies sounds good to me. Have fun.

I pretend to be happy nontheless and carry on as normal, meanwhile my insides ache so bad that it feels as though my heart is about to explode - (at least I know I still have emotion left in me and have not gone completely cold) but hey, after that, I pick myself up and keep going full steam ahead ... :) Happy Valentines Day to you xxx
