When I drink, I like to get really drunk, really fast. The only problem is that I absolutely HATE the taste of alcohol. Vodka is what I always drink, because It has a high alcohoI content, and I don't need to drink much to get drunk. I usually drink a half a pint of vodka, and that gets me pretty drunk. I almost gag and feel sick after every sip I take, so I end up chugging it in about two goes. Anyway, Is there any highly alcoholic drink that tastes better "neat"? I've had someone tell me dark rum tastes "Good", but I think they were just trying to sound like some liquor connoisseur. ; P Any thoughts? ...Also, I don't want to mix with stuff. I want to drink fast and neat to get drunk quickly. So it's obvious to me that I wont get around that vile burning vomit inducing taste of alcohol, but I'd just like something that tastes a bit more bearable. Haha, I realize that I sound like a little skiv, but being drunk is new to me. I'm not yet ready to appreciate my beverage slowly. : P

Try any vodka drink with Grey Goose. Very smooth. That was my liquor of choice because it had the least amount of taste.

You sound unready to appreciate any beverage at any rate.

If you are not willing to deal with the taste of alcohol and resort to "chugging it" you need to stay sober or face up to the fact that all things come at a price.

The fact that alcohol tastes "awful" is the means by which people don't drink a fifth to themselves and die.
There are no spirits with less taste than premium vodka, try a flavored variety or just stick to mixed drinks. Rum is a fine spirit, and after vodka it is the one I would most recommend to those who don't appreciate liquor. Try some Captain Morgan Private Stock, very good and if you drink a half a pint a night like you said the $25 will last you 4 days, better tasting and way cheaper than going to a bar.
If being drunk is new to you stay away from Everclear (tequilla too, fine liquor, but the stuff has bite and seems to do more work per proof than anything else), I like the stuff but 1 shot is equal to 2 or almost 3 regular 80 proof shots so it's very easy to overdo it.

Personally I haven't found a spirit which I didn't enjoy the taste of neat besides Gin.

First dark rum is a very sweet liquor and tastes a lot better that vodka it's made by distilling molasses and then adding a little fresh molasses to curve the bitter taste unlike clear rum, second you don't have to mix but if you hate the taste of liquor so much consider chasing it with a cola or a fruit drink, it helps the taste and gets you drunk just as fast.

You're not going to find an alcohol you like if you're going to drink it straight thats above 20%. I recommend Everclear and fruit punch. Everclear is strong stuff (153+ proof depending on what type you buy). If you mix it half and half you'll have a drink thats as strong as drinking straight vodka and tates good. Trust me, we put it in big coolers for parties and you can barely taste the alcohol. Two or three glasses and you'll be set.

i'm thoroughly baffled as to how human beings drink quite some it so rapidly too. I hate the flavor of alcohol as nicely. I nonetheless have yet to attempt 3.5% alcohol point stuff (6% is the backside i've got had so some distance) and that i'm hoping i'm able to get used to that. i'm 15 too so perhaps we do get used to it as we become previous and at different cases. perhaps we in simple terms hate the flavor. i could be greater susceptible to trust the latter.

Any drinks you make add some grenadine in it. You can get grenadine at the liquor store and it takes the taste of alcohol away

Dark rum is made with molasses, so it is sweet, tastes pretty good and Southern Comfort is a sweeter tasting whiskey, not sharp like Jack Daniels.

You shouldn't drink to get drunk, if it doesn't taste good and you don't enjoy it what good is it. But try shots of Sambuca, it taste very sweet so does amaretto.
