And so on, also if my cousin gets married would I properly refer to that person as a cousin, cousin in law?

One more thing, would I refer to my "Mother's, sister's, husband's, sister's children" as related to me in a specific way, other than "by marriage"?

a first cousin would be you and your aunt's child (your mom's sister's son and you). second cousins would be your child and your first cousin's child. (the son i already mentioned has a kid, and you have a kid. his kid and yours are second cousins) if your cousin gets married, their spouse would be your cousin - no need for the 'in law'. and for the other one... you're just related by marriage, i wouldn't even try to explain it with cousin or whatever.

as for the removed... in case you ever want to know.. your first cousin's child and yourself are first cousins Once removed. their kid would be your first cousin Twice removed - and so on.. just throwing that in for the heck of it...geez, i hope i didn't just complicate things. :s

hope this makes sense.

A first cousin is your parents brothers or sisters kids. They would be first cousins. Second cousin is your cousins kids.

your first cousins are the children of the brothers and sisters of your mom and dad, second cousins are the children of your mom and dads first cousins, and the rest are just relatives there no more third cousins, you refer to them as relatives. . . and I think there is no such thing as a cousin in law.
