Mythology and Folklore are parts of religion.
The Bible isn't Christianity. It's part of Christianity.

The mythologies of ancient religions are all we have left now of those religions. Sure, there's a few broken down temples, but eh...

Religion has been with man kind since we made cave paintings, or even before then.

What I'm not really understanding right now is why there are so many atheists in the religion section. I mean, you guys don't have a religion, no dieties, nothing. So why are you in the religious section?

Mythology & Folklore doesn't give guidance on how we should lead our lives.

Theism has no evidence, so in that sense it belongs in the mythology section. But since it's all relied on by "faith" - (deluded) theists see their religion (whatever it may be) as the correct/"true" religion and all the others false. Meaning... they think it's real despite pigs having not yet flown.

hmmm the topic of this forum is "Religion and Spirituality"; why then should "religion" be in the forum of mythology and folklore?

No, they should be in the section called religion and spirituality - regardless.

Ever think that's what the category is there for?
