Dogs do lose their teeth just like humans, and 6 months is about the right age. Congratulations on your new adult teeth coming in...no more sharp little teeth!!!

The baby canines (the long pointy fang teeth) fall out and the adult ones come in between 5 and 6 months....perfectly normal. But when you get her spayed, have the vet check for retained baby teeth-chihuahuas and toy poodles sometimes don't lose all their baby teeth, so they can end up with a double set-not good. But if she's under anesthesia to be spayed anyway... perfect time to remove extra teeth if she has any : )

yes, this is normal. Dogs lose their baby teeth just like humans do. I bet if you look in a few days, or even now, you will see the adult tooth starting to grow in. Most dogs lose their baby canines, and grow adult canines at 6 months. That is how we predict the age of a puppy that we are unsure of. When they get their adult canines in we call them 6 months old. This is Really nothing to worry about.

It was probably a baby tooth, and yes, they lose those just as we humans do. A lot of people don't know this because it's rare to find puppy and kitten teeth laying around....because the majority of animals swallow their baby teeth. Nothing to worry about:)

I just took mine to the vet yesterday. He has three that might need to be pulled if they don't fall out on there own soon. Perfectly normal.

Don't forget to put the tooth under it's pillow for the tooth fairy. Or better yet, put it under your pillow, might just pay off for you.
