Sometimes, I think men make better soldiers that volunteer that the ones that are forced to go. Then on the other hand, some of these young guys floating around here, not knowing where they are going, some don't know where they have been and some don't even know where they are. A little military service would do a lot of them good, Build a good foundation of character.

This is going to shock the blogbaba's fans, but I think without a complete reversal of our currant foreign policy, the U.S. will have to institue a draft. There is no way to fight the entire European Union, all of the Middle East, most of South American and the Chinese/Korean conspirency and still have enough troops left over to stop Putin selling the rest of the old Soviet nuclear arsenal to the highest bidder. With the damage the Euro has done to the dollar on the international market, we can't affort to buy the nukes, so we almost have to invade Iran just to keep the mushroom clouds off of our good friends in Israel.

Mean while back at the ranch...

I don't think they would institute a draft because of an increase in the number of waivers given to recruits. Instituting a draft would only make the number of waivers they need to give out larger. It would probably even double or triple the amount. The only reason they would institute a draft (besides the fact that Bush is crazy) would be because they need more recruits, not because the recruits they have now are making mistakes.

I think that is a great thing they are allowing these people a chance in life. They gave criminals choices all of the time all the way into the 70's. Jail or military. Alot of them made careers out of the military. What is your problem with it? Did you serve? Are you a vet? Do you have kids ready and willing to serve? I think not!!! If you aren't a vet then shut your pie hole.

I think that we should institute military service. The boys need to be away from their mommies to get de-wimpified and the girls need to get better values than those they get from the Bimbo squad (Britany, Paris etc..)

As Osama bin Laden puts it: "In this final phase of the ongoing struggle, the world of the infidels was divided between two superpowers--the United States and the Soviet Union. Now we have defeated and destroyed the more difficult and the more dangerous of the two. DEALING WITH THE PAMPERED AND EFFEMINATE AMERICANS WILL BE EASY."

Absolutely not. It is a good sound policy. A minor drug offense or assault without a weapon is no big deal. I was granted a waiver by the USMC and retired as an officer. Do you advocate squeaky clean wimps for the business of killing?

First off it woudl be ReInstitiute. Second, WHY? We have the largest VOLUNTEER Military in the world. Do you want mass border crossings like Vietnam? Do you want guys who do not want to serve serving?

Absolutely. The libs need a rude awakening and to get with the praogram. They wont do it voluntarily so we need to give them a lttle push into the fight of our lives that they are too stupid to see.
