I given 10% amount of 2 tickets for Mumbai to Melbourne for booking of flight tickets in Oct. 06 for tickets of 2 Feb. 07. But the Agent has not booked the tickets. He given us tickets on 31st Jan. 07 and told you must have given 50% amount for booking.

I have read this a few times in trying to figure out what you are asking, but I'm not sure.
Are you asking how much do you need to pay in order to "confirm or book" an airline ticket?
If that is the case, you need to pay the entire amount of the ticket. You don't pay a deposit. You pay deposits on certain packages yes, but typically (not always, but MOST of the time) tickets are guaranteed at time of full payment.
Now if you are asking if agents get a percentage of the cost of the ticket to keep for the agency, the agency doesn't make any money on air only tickets. That is why most charge say a $30.00 per person fee to cover the cost of issuing the ticket. Online sites also charge these, most just hide the fees.

Better u do it by ur self by visiting the above mentioned website but u need to have credit card
