First of all. Please define what you think a Mexican is. You kinda want to piss on people speaking english. You are comprised of a bunch of Native American Tribes. Your so called Mexican army that tried to occupy parts of what is now the United States was just a bunch of drunks left over from the Conquistadors. (Spain if you don't know what they were) and if we had not whipped the Commanches you would still be chasing the buffalo and eating Rattlesnake. Yes we speak English and admit it. But you really don't even have a language. You try Spanish and do not do a very good job of it. Now as for undocumented immigrants, are you refering to the criminals whom have illegally crossed in to the Soverign Nation of These United States of America? We normally refer to you by several other names but never "undocumented". You want to be a Mexican then swim back across the Rio Grande and take your relatives with you. I can pick my own beans.

While I'm not advocating illegal entry, it does make me sad that our country is so aggressively angry over the Mexican immigrants, and even the Mexican Americans (since most gringo Americans can't actually tell the difference between one or the other unless they start a conversation). Mexican Americans are not second class citizens. And as for that war we won against Mexico? We won it with the help of Mexican Americans! Check out the history of Juan Seguin.

PS - Just because someone wants to speak Spanish doesn't mean they're forcing you to do the same.

Of course not. That is like saying that Aztec Indians are more Mexican than Mexicans because they were in Mexico before the Spaniards came and before it even became Mexico. Do Mexicans sacrifice virgins to the gods at the tops of temples and cut their hearts out?

There were immigrants from all over the world fighting for land throughout the Americas, and that is the past, and that is the business of our ancestors, not our business here in the present. Today's borders and countries are what they are, and you are welcome to cross them legally and if you choose to break the law in any country you should be treated as a criminal.

No. Mexico lost the war and therefore lost the land. That is how things work. All of those Mexicans that lived in the Southwest after the Mexican-American War were given American citizenship and allowed to keep their Mexican citizenship.

And last I check...Mexicans weren't here first. Native Americans were. Mexicans are aboriginal/Spanish mixes. That doesn't make them native. But then you will say "Their ancestors were native to the land." Fine, great. Well guess what...60% of Americans have native American blood in their blood lines. We can argue that same fact. My family immigrated from Ireland. Their children settled in Texas. I have Commanche and Apache ancestors one both sides of my family. So guess what...I have just as much right to live here as any MEChA, La Raza, Aztlan racist does.

Unlike Mexicans, other immigrants are usually educated prior to moving to the USA. It doesn't make me sad or mad, it makes me laugh at how stupid some comments are from Mexicans. Sorry to disappoint you but there were many native tribes here before you Spanish slaves came over. ;-)

Its unhappy you'll have worked for a company for 20 years conversing English and are simplest now being requested to learn an additional desirable language. Sadder nevertheless that you note of yet another language yet no longer the proper one. I dont think it really is discrimination, although. agencies might want to favor to pass ahead with the activities, and as unfair because it might want to look, we stay in a time now the position there are literally thousands of Spanish conversing skills clientele residing among us. i'd have achieved precisely as you, although carry an open mind and stay as in case you've been to die the subsequent day and benefit understanding of as should you'd stay for ever and ever! perfect sturdy fortune!

by your implication, who ever was here at a certain point in history, say 500 years, owns the country? hey, why don't we say whoever was in this land 1000 years ago 'owns' the country, or 10000 years? your ideas are ridiculous, the fact of the matter is the U.S. owns this land, if mexicans don't like that, they can leave

minorities are only activists for their own cause

it makes me sad for you. because the native americans living in the US AND mexico were taken over at virtually the same time by england and spain. so the "mexicans" you are refering to, as they exist today, were not here. those "mexicans" were native indians, just like OUR native americans in the US.

why is it neccessary to try and lift yourself above one group of people in order to feel better about yourself? why can't you just ask for respect and hope to receive it...rather than trying to rise above the group you disagree with...therefore only bringing yourself to the level you already hate.
