i told myself id never do this but i just cant seem to trust him. hes always distant from me, and i dont know if its because were running out of things to talk about or what... im going to have one of my friends (who he doesnt know) messege him and ask him if he has a gf. is this a bad thing to do? when he was dating a girl like a year ago he would always flirt with me. i already told him i cant trust him, but i've given him a chance. now i only feel naive for dating him. im just wondering, is this a bad idea to have one of my friends do this? if not, what other advice can you give me? thank you everyone who replies...

if you've already tried talking 2 him about how u don't trust him then i don't think it's too bad of an idea, but be careful about what how it could affectu guys later on if he finds out u did it.

Not a bad idea. Just go on. Its not a bad thing to do. Just a little advice, what if he says he does not have a gf? What would you do? I think most guys not prepared to be in a serious relationship will answer this question in a very blur way.. Or maybe replies "yes..but..." then be friend with that girl.. then...later one day finds out if the girl is better han you.. then... Or maybe he is a smart kid and already had precaution on this kind of testing. Guys are not that stupid.
* never trust someone you don't really trust, that's protecting yourself, you have the right to do it. But think about 1 more thing, what if he discovers? Things will really turn very bad. Its up to you to take the risk.

I think you answered your own question. If you can't trust him or build that trust, then why are you wasting your time. I've found that my gut feeling is usually right.
On the other hand, if I were with a girl who didn't trust me and I could do nothing to earn that trust and then found out I was being "tested" I would probably leave and in a quick manner.
Either way, trust is like respect, it is earned, not just given...

The "test" you suggest is simply a way for you to lie to him. Is that what you mean by trust? If you are that insecure or have that many doubts about the guy, dump him. It appears you are not quite ready for a mature relationship, anyway.

You can test your boyfriend and find out if you had a good relationship or not. Unfortunately, no matter what you find out, you won't have a good relationship any more.

If you don't trust your boyfriend you shouldn't be with him..
"Testing" will only make it worse.
