Yes because of draining, but if it becomes to painful with fever call your doctor. Try taking Mussinex to help. I Hope you feel better soon. Ask your pharmacist for it tell him whats going on and a good one well tell you what to take.

If you have a fever with an earache (101 or higher) then you have an ear infection. See a doctor in the mean time go to a drug store and get ear drops they should be by the eye drops take some Tylenol and then see a doctor in the AM.

now you dont have to try this. My great grandma was a witch doctor and did this for me when I was young. Have someone heat up some olive oil, but not too hot. with you layin on your side, your bad ear facing up, take a teaspoon, scoop some oil and have the person slowly pour it into your ear. put a cotton ball immediately in and flip to the other side. it will start leaking into the cotton ball and keep it in until the oil is almost cold.
