"possessorship"

do you say "under the possessorship" of....or what? perhaps a sample sentence would help? thanks

that word does not exist. The right word is possession. I looked for possessorship in a dictionary and didn't find it.

I don't think many people say 'possessorship' ... in fact, i've never heard it before... 'ownership' would be a more common word.

Anyway, a sample sentence could be: "The car was under the possessorship of John." - meaning, John possesses the car.

Not the world's greatest sentence, but I don't think possessorship is even a word =/

It does exist as a word...I believe it means ownership of and is legal in nature...try google 'ing on "possessorship definition"
