Truthfully, this says something about your character. If you like someone that is fine, but to interfere in a pre-existing relationship for personal gain is selfish and nieve. You can also look at it this way, if you and the someone you like are young chances are that existing relationship won't last long anyway so you may have your chance after it ends. Either way, like I said, this is a test of character, what you chose to do is up to you.

Wow, it's so weird for me to read this question. I was practically in love with a guy that was attached and at one point I felt like I would do anything to be her for a day. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I was the reason their relationship ended. Besides, you have to think about his/her happiness, not yours. Please, just walk away from it.
I decided to be good friends with her instead of hurting her. They're happy and I am happy.

Yes of course!!!! Do not give up even if the chances are slim. Go for it coz you never know he or she might be yours 1 day. As long as the person is not married to anyone else, keep on trying.

I did that before, but I was young and immature. Knowing what I know now,no,no,no.How would you feel if your boyfriend/girlfriend did that to you? I thought that person was right for me at the time .Looking back now,his girlfriend had every right to hate me.

Never. I have bailed on a relationship because it was a rebound, but the bounce went in the other direction

If he or she abandons their g/b/f then they might abandon you the moment they find something better, and seeing as to how your contemplating causing another person grief, then I suppose he or she could find better.
