Yes they do look great!! They don't hurt me much, depending on who is braiding. I disagree with the person that said they are boring. If they are boring for you thats because maybe you don't have an imagination. You can braid your hair many ways. My hair is braided on my display picture and I love them!

HEY CORNFLAKE,
NOT ALL WOMEN LOOK GOOD IN BRAIDS, NOT ALL HAIR TEXTURES WILL STAY IN BRAIDS AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY ARE EXTREMELY PAINFUL FOR MOST PEOPLE. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE YOU HAVE TO REALLY WANT THEM TO PUT UP WITH THE PAIN. I LOVE THEM AND HAVE HAD MINE DONE SEVERAL TIMES (NOT INEXPENSIVELY, I MIGHT ADD) AND THE LONGEST I HAVE EVER LEFT THEM IN IS ONE NIGHT. HOPE THIS HELPS ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. GOD BLESS!

I don't wear them b/c it doesn't fit my hair style and when I do it gets frizzy.
-frizziness
-it doesn't stay up well
-not "in"
-not classy
-painfulish lol
-tangles
-can't do them ourselves easily
^^all reasons why girls don't wear them.
