I am a firm believer that you need to give her the gift and this way. Last year on Easter i really liked this girl that i go to college with and we were pretty good friends. She wasn't in a very good relationship at the time. So for easter i got her a stuffed bunny rabbit its ears were real long so i hooked the ears around her car mirror and when she got out of class this was this bunny on her car with my number on the back. She called me.
It didnt work out but we are closer friends now.

I have been down this route many times and it is a sticky issue or can be. You want her! She wants someone else but to her you are pals. What has worked for me time after time over the years is, go ahead and give the chocolate and send also with it a card. Be her friend. Make sure your ententions are good. I had a friend who did this and he ended up with the woman He loves so much because simply put, true love begins first with true friendship. I mean make yourself her true friend, Her best friend. Her 1 AM friend Her 2 AM friend. Be the person she can call when the bottom falls out from under her. Become that solid rock she can lean on or the shoulder she can cry upon. It begins first with friendship and then if romance developes, thats an added bonus. This way your "coupleness" is not the focus. You will enjoy each other a LOT more. I KNOW!

If you already bought her the chocolate then yes give it to her!! I mean for all you know she may like you and by you giving her the chocolate on v day it could give you big points and she may give you a chance in the future if things don't work out with her bf. Also who knows if even her bf got her anything so you may luck out and really be the only one that got her something for v day altogether and that would really give you bouns points. Life is too short so I say if you really like her tell her and give her the chocolates as a sweet reminder of how sweet you are!!! :)

I feel sad for you. She is lucky, man. So many guys like her, she must be this wonderful person. Think about it, would you like it if she was your girl friend and some dude that likes her, who you know is her friend, gives her a box of chocolates? Maybe the boy friend won't mind. I say give the chocolates to your sister or your mom, or an older, lonely lady or friend, someone at work, who you think is not going to get a valentine, the other girl she is set.

If you're friends then give it to her for sure... You can play it off like it's no big dea, pretend you got it as a buy-one get-one free kind of deal. Or if she seems truthfully surprised and thankful (and you think she's into you) then just play it cool, sort of "oh I saw this and I thought of you"...
Maybe she'll see something speical in you that she doesn't see in her boyfriend!
And if she doesn't... just play it cool and be a good friend, she'll be thankful just for the thought.

tell her it's just a friends valentine gift but then see what she says. Plus if she likes you back, it's a little rough for her to break up with her boyfriend near valentines day. give her the gift and wait it out. Good Luck!

don't give her a gift if she had a boyfriend.
you're just out of luck........
you may be able to reveal how you feel to her, but i think giving her a gift is the wrong way to do it.
maybe just tell her exactly how you feel about her....( when her boyfriend isn't around, obviously)
it's possible she'll be flattered and will remember you if she ever breaks up with her boyfriend.
i hope you like her for good reasons.

Well give it to her & give a freindship card with it. Don't put any incriminating in the card so it will sound innocent , but if the BF is psycho I would say no
