In some states there is a high school equivelancy exam that you can take to get out of high school early. A HSEE is worth far more than a GED. If you feel that you need to get out of school early, take the HSEE, not the GED, then go to college for one semester. I know you don't like school, but if you go to college for just one semester it will look better than if you just graduate early and start working. In California, my home state, if you pass the HSEE you graduate high school and get your diploma, but if you just pass the GED you get a certificate of completion that isn't as valuable. If your state doesn't have a HSEE, stay in school and tough it out.

Stay in school. Employers all know that a GED is a joke. Showing up with a GED certificate will tell the employer you were too stupid for high school. Get your diploma or you'll regret it forever.

That is the first thing employers look at on your application / resume. Stay in school no matter how much you hate it! I know far too many people who quit and screwed up their future. Employers look at that as a sign that you are a QUITTER! So if you want to work for minimum wage or just a little bit above min for the rest of your life then go ahead quit. If you want something better for yourself stay in school.

yes, it is deffinately worth it. employers look at those type of things. if you showed dedication to school then you most likely show dedication in all work. it helps.
