Sure they will, why didn't you appear?
They may not appear at your door but if they run your name on a traffic stop you will be arrested.
Go and straighten it out.

Yes, a warrant was probably issued on the same day that you failed to appear in court. It may not have been entered into the computer on that day however. IF you're in St. Louis, and IF the ticket was given to you by a Kansas City officer (not highway patrol or county sheriff's deputy) and IF it's a city violation--IF the charges didn't go to the County or the State--then Kansas City is not going to extradite out of St. Louis on a minor city charge. I used to work in Claycomo, which borders KC, and KCPD would tell us all the time to "advise and release"--meaning tell the person they've got a warrant, and let him go. Additionally, Kansas City enters their city warrants into the ALERT system (KC area only) and St. Louis uses REJIS (St. Louis area only) so IF it was truly a city charge your warrant won't even show up when St. Louis runs you. Note all the IFs in my answer. Be sure it really was a city charge, or the warrant may have been entered into MULES, with statewide extradition, and you just might get arrested.

If you were supposed to appear in court on a prescribed date, and you did not show up, the judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest on the day of that court hearing. If I were you, I'd turn yourself in and clear that up before you get in any deeper.

They process the warrant the same day. It doesn't matter what type of crime it is. Your best bet is to call a lawyer and maybe they can get you a continuence.
