I have thought about it and remembered it every single day, since my 'most excellent adventure'.

Hm..... when WAS the last time I was innocent? Good question. Probably in early childhood before I learned how to do anything wrong (other than occasionally annoy my parents). Do you think naivette is a good thing? I was certainly naive in my teens. But was all well? Probably not. Wasn't very happy then either. Eventually got diagnosed as depression. Never deliberately did anything illegal (except speeding). I am still learning more of "what I really am" as time goes by. And that's not always a good thing. And as to "finding my way back 'home' " - I've grown up and gotten my own place now.

Now- When one comes to their constitutional position they generally don't forget. Even as a child that is not our real identity. In fact a child is innocent but on the extreme bodily platform. They think they are their senses. They only care about eating and sleeping, as we get older we then add mating and fearing,or defending. But if we advance spiritually we learn to control the bodily urges and the mind and emotions as well. The reason why people are having so much trouble these days is they do not know the process for self realization and controlling the senses to get off the bodily and mental platform. Chanting the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra bring one to their true spiritual identity.

I understand what I am and I know that remembering reminds me that there is no being innocent, that one aspect of finding my way home is confronting the memory.

I've been conscious of exactly what I am, and to have been part of the Lore for over 65 years. It has always brought a knowledge of wellness and innocence while in the constant pursuit of the knowledge of all Gods and religions.

Well put,
This was what sparked me to return to the framework that is set in place for a relationship with Jesus. I had more faith when I was 5 then I do now at 40. I truly regret waisting twenty years of my life on unbelief. But I have a great future now.
Shalom.

Yes. Everyday I stop and reflect who I am. I am a child of God and I must strive to not give in to sin and to control all my fleshly desires. I think of God's sacrifice everyday and that helps me to stay innocent. I'm finding my way back home everyday when I stop what I'm doing focus on God and pray. ♥
