you know what you're talking about. Here's an example - "If you were a Christian in Syria you'd be shot," or, "Sure wearing Muslim attire is frouned on in the US, but not as much as wearing a bakinin in the Middle East," (you know, except on the nude beaches in Bahrain), or "Iran holds its Jewish poulation hostage." (Like the Jewish member of parliament, the chief rabbi, the 26,000 Jews who earn on average more than the Muslim population, the Grand Synagogue of Tehran, the tomb of Mordechai and Esther covered in gold and blue porcelain, etc.)

yeah, sorry, I misspelled, "Frowned," in English. My bad. It's my 4th language. How many languages do the complainers speak?

If I was a Christian in Syria I would be shot. Ok deal. I am willing to bet my life on my beliefs. What are you willing to bet your life on?
Shalom.

Hmm, do you realize you are telling only part of the story too? In Syria, Christians are required to adhere to Muslim laws. Bahrain does not follow Islamic laws, and is an anomaly in the Arab world (The "Las Vegas" of the Arab world). As for Jews in Iran, well, the Jewish "representative " is voted on by Jews, from a very short list selected by the Islamic leaders of Iran. This person can be arrested for disagreeing with the government in any way, at any time. The Jews there are also not allowed to say things against the government in fear of arrest and execution, not to mention that all family assets are confiscated if even ONE family member does anything out of line. Many of these laws apply to all Iranians, but then again, they are Muslims going to an Islamic court system and Jail system, so they dont lose the ability to follow religious law in there.. I am sure the tomb of Mordecai and Esther has been there for many eons now, and is a national historical monument there. I'd love to see the actual stats on average income in Iran by religion, but I am pretty sure its non existent, and even if not, highly inaccurate, due to the numbers of Zoroastrians who are still in hiding about it..

How ironic that you asked this question and misspelled the word "frowned". I'm sure your heart was in the right place in asking this question but if they're talking BS, do you think your question is really going to open their eyes. BS is relative anyhow. What you think is utter crap, some people can't imagine life without it.
Here's a thought, just let people say whatever they want. Laugh at them if you think it's silly and then just get on with your life. Weird concept, I know. Give it a try.

As a general rule, fundamentalist Christians like pointing out the horrors and atrocities commited by people of other faiths to cover up the shortcomings of their own religion.

There is a lot of ignorance about religion, to be sure, even among the nominal believers in a particular faith. So I studied extensively before concluding that it was all nonsense.
