I was gonna do one of the lake cruises and enjoy the lake and out 200 guests but I can not find a place to hold that many people and not outta the ballpark with price I still need a bar and DJ so please name so places for me please! thanks

Pick a bar of your choice. My favorite is Cherry Red (because it appeals to club peopple like me and bar people as well).
Call ahead and talk to a manager about a party. What you can do Is pay in advance (not too much) and give them a guest list number. They will sell armbands to whoever wants one in your party and they can have access to an open bar of your choice (least expensive is like well liquor for 2 hours to more expensive premium liquor for 4-6 hours).
I know college students that have done this so it's very reasonable.
It's EASY to organize, and very inexpensive. If you want a place all to yourself, be prepared to pay P Diddy type of $

Any hotel will accomodate you with a reasonable priced party. The same goes for most restaurants, they will clear the area or have a dining room just for you and the guests and you can bring the bar and music.
I know Maggiano's does it and they have food to die for!

I just want to let you know that Chicago is CRAZY expensive. My boyfriend took me their for my 21st birthday, I don't know what he was thinking, because we really couldn't afford it. A damn Best Western was nearly $400 a night, for two twin beds. Plus drinks were very expensive, parking was WAY over priced. I just want to let you know so you can start saving up some money now. Because it will be more than you expect, even when planning ahead. Good luck with finding a place to go, and have fun!!

But I want to echo Chicago is expensive (not New York expensive) but I thin k it is more so than LA although I am a decade or so off on in live in LA prices.
