I was thinking/reading about Moses and Egypt and what do you think the time frame was there for him? I mean first off, he had to convince the tribe elders that they were being called to leave Egypt (their homes)....that didn't happen over night I am sure. Then going to convince the King to let them leave....going to court, being turned down....the plague's one by one....how long do you think it took?

I think it must have been at least 1 year?

thanks for answering!

From what I've studied the Exodus began within a year of Moses returning to Egypt from Midian.

According to the Exodus narrative his life is divided into three, forty-year eras (1) in Egypt, (2) among the Midianites, (3) returned to Egypt, led his people out of there, and wandered in the wilderness for forty years.

i'd depart Coptic thoroughly out as that doesn't happen till after Greek is broadly used (that's Egyptian employing Greek letters and exhibits up a pair thousand years after Moses) and could be be impossible to comprehend in the previous it existed. midsection Egyptian and Moabite/Hebrew (functionally dialects of the comparable Semitic language) are considerable contenders.

The jews were never in Egypt. All archeologists who have studied Egypt, including those who _want_ the bible to be true, can't prove it. It's a false historical claim.
