Good ones from major banks don't. A lot of "Subprime" ones do. For some people these cards are a good way to get established but after awhile you should raise your scores and work on getting in with some "real" Prime credit card issuers.

You will request for credit limit increase. One of my former friend told me he used to have credit card from First Premier will not increase the credit limit as Bank of America or Capital one so he did request for increase the limit.

Credit card companies can charge a fee for a credit line increase. They are required to disclose the fee before granting the credit line increase, and you have to agree to the fee.

I've never, ever heard of that. Sounds like a credit card company that will raise your interest rates to 29.9 percent or higher. You shouldn't pay a fee for a credit limit increase.

I have never heard of this before. I have increased my credit limit a lot sense I have had them sense I was young and have never been charged for it. I have done this with many of my cards and haven't paid a cent for it.
