i believe that Baby Moses is what is called a hermaphrodite. when he reached sexual maturity, he first became interested in a young female that wasn't quite in her first heat yet, and suddenly he went into heat, and my adopted tom became very interested in him, and they have copulated many times, but wether they have actually succeeded in anything i dont know. i heard of a male cat that was neutered, then got pregnant, and my vet says it is possible...but well, has anyone out there experienced this?

Hermaphodite cats usually have malfunctioning ovaries and testes. I have never heard of one becoming pregnant. It might be a good idea to see your vet and have him examine your cat's birth canal to see if there are any complications and whether a c-section may be necessary. He can also make a determination of whether Kitty is a hermaphrodite or not.
The best thing to do for your cat is to get it neutered.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^

MALES never go into heat, it's the females that do. Fixing a female is called spaying. It's an internal surgery that they shave the stomach for. Fixing a male is called neutering and it's done from outside the cat's body, not an internal surgery. It's far less invasive. If you're sure you have a male, he's just lonely. If you have a female (and her stomach was shaved) then she's not going to be in heat since all the reproductive organs were removed but she could be hurting since internal surgery hurts a lot more than external.

Interesting scenario but male cats do not go into heat. They are good to go 12 months of the year. And no, I've never heard of a male cat, neutered or not, getting pregnant. Where does the fetus develop pray tell?

You've heard of a male cat that was neutered and then got pregnant. And your vet says this is possible.

I heard about a man who had a vasectomy and then nine months later gave birth to his first child. My doctor says it's possible.

True hemaphrodites are rare rare rare rare rare. I would bet money you have a female cat. Get it fixed.

Hermaphrodite or female, either way, it's NOT a boy and it's in heat. Previous post stands. Get it fixed.
