Whoa!

We have a national drink Turkish raki, and its alcohol ratio is higher than beer's. It is sold in every market.

We also have a famous basketball team and it was founded for the name of a beer company; Efes Pilsen

Of course drink is legal in Turkey. We have a national drink called "Rakı"... Also don't forget to try Efes Pilsen, best beer in the world : )

Turkey is a secular democratic country. Of course it's legal to drink.

yes it is legal to drink in Turkey of course..

And some people don't know what they are talking about, its sold in every single corner shop, super markets etc..we have millions of bars, most Turks do like to have drink... we like to have a few and a laugh..

But only difference between European countries and Turkey is that our culture is not purely based on drinking..

I've been to Istanbul. We drank at the Sheraton Palace when
we ate dinner there. So, the answer is yes. Drinking alcohol
is legal.
