Here in MN 5 people have already died in the last month.....and I was curious if were the only state that has deaths caused by the Flu.

We've had one in New York state that I know of. It was a boy of about 8 that was in poor health before he got the flu.

Approximately 36,000 people die from the flu in the US each year, on average. So, MN is not unique, in fact, 5 people in a month is an extremely low number of deaths for MN.

I think there are more people who die from many different strains of the flu virus.
