I just want to know what to do.

She said that she was sad not to be with him for V Day but hopefully next year she might. She is my best friend and she already knows I like her. I hadn't been on this site for a while so she didn't do it on purpose. I was going to ask her how she felt tomorrow.

Ask her anyway. You can't believe everything on blogs anyhoo.

Girls tend to be sad about exes for long time, and it usually takes a new guy to cure her of her longings.

Justify hanging out with her by saying that you dont want her to be lonely, or something like that. Show her a genuinely good time- something she enjoys a lot, even if it's not your favorite thing to do.

After a little bit of that, just tell her that you really enjoy spending time with her, and ask her to be your girlfriend.

If you wait for her to get over her older feelings, chances are, she might be snatched up by the time you get around to asking her.

Yeah, well, girls are very emotional and when relationships don't work out, it takes awhile to get over it. They sort of have to "mourn" the loss of something they once thought was special. Don't let it keep you from asking her out though. She just needs a nice guy like you to make her forget all about Mr. Wrong. And if she goes out with you, it still may take her time to get over that past relationship.

I say move on to the next girl, because there is a whole lot of them wait for a nice guy like you to ask them out

My big brother told me years ago, that the best way to get over a girl is to go out with another, that goes the same the other way, so go for it.

Dont put her in a spot by asking if she likes you. Did'nt you read her blog??
Instead, profess your feelings to her if you're really keen on having a relationship with her.
Otherwise, give it sometime before you say anything.

If she typed in her blog that she is sad about her ex...that is always going to happen, until somebody else comes in to her life she will forget about that ex and if she also likes you that person that comes in to her life will be you.

The best way to forget an ex is to go on to another partner. Go in there and sweep her off her feet!

Best of Luck!

Let her be for now. Monitor her blog and just observe things until she's no longer pining for the ex. It won't be long. Be patient.

give her a little time to recover but then become her friend and be there for her in this rough spot for her and show compassion..then ask her...she will remember how you helped her and were sweet.
