I had a great time in Perth 3 years ago. We self-drove from Perth to Albany and visited many interesting places. We enjoyed the wineries, chocolate factories and not to mention, the great seafood available in Fremantle. Don't listen to other people when they says that Perth is boring. You only get bored when you don't know how to enjoy and find thing to do on vacation. Me and my family DID NOT GET BORED at all in Perth. In fact, we enjoyed ourselves so much, we extend it another 2 days at the very last minute!!! Get beautiful opals or sheepskin products for the girls. How about macadamia nuts and pine nuts too....lovely!!! You should try their wines too. Have a nice trip there and see for yourself how beautiful and serene Perth is. Btw, I am not an Australian. So, don't get me wrong as though I am praising my own country.

i live in perth and the only thing going for it is its a great place to raise a family!
