Sleeping with the bible has not been shown to help people with their dreams. Perhaps you do care for sex but just consiously afraid to admit your desires. Tomorrow is valentines and you probably just feel bad you can't share it with someone.

I have had my sleep affected by such things. I don't sleep with my Bible- I think that can easily turn into a voodoo type thing- the Bible is not a talisman. the most important thing is your relationship with God. The stronger your relationship is the stronger the enemy will work to attack and bring fear, discouragement and lack of peace. You are on the right track praying and rebuking the spirits in the name of Jesus before oyu go to sleep. Memorize some verses about purity and read them or speak them aloud before you go to sleep. Also, when you are sleeping you do have a certain level of consciousness while oyu are sleeping- try to concentrate on praying and rebuking these spirits when you are actually having these types of dreams. I have gotten so practiced in this , I actually have spiritual battles while I am sleeping- I begin to dream of some kind of unGodly encounter and struggle to pray and rebuke the spirits in the dream- I have often woken myself up praying out loud or rebuking the spirits out loud. I generally fall back to a peaceful and restful sleep. When I remember to pray aobut these things before I fall asleep, I sleep a lot better too.

It's not a lustful spirit. You as a Christian are suppressing something natural for your spirituality. It's a lot like how ascetic monks supprise their natural urges of hunger so they can focus on the divine. It takes practice, and undoubtably will effect you psychologically. That's where your dreams are coming from.

I think you are having repeated dreams you don't want because you are focusing on them too much. Let's say you dreamt that a head of broccoli was chasing you. You would recoginze it as nonsense and move on, but if you kept thinking about the broccoli dream before you went to bed then you would probably have it again. You can't control your dreams and shouldn't be ashamed of what happens in them.

Evil spirits floating in the room? Are they the same evil spirits that people used to blame on seizures, mental retardation, and schizophrenia, until science proved that spirits do not exist?

Sex dreams are natural. Everyone has them. I think you're overthinking this.
