Eat a piece of fruit with every meal. Bananas or strawberries on your cereal is a good way to start. Then run everyday- it burns calories, stregnthen your muscles, and it's great for your heart!

Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

Fun exercise? Do anything with your friends ANYTHING!! Like playing frisbee at the park. Play basket ball or soccer. Anything that you do together is a lot more fun because you motivate each other.

As far as what you should eat... just eat normally. You're a teen, your metabolism rate is still high. Just don't overstuff yourself. If you feel very full and heavy after a meal, you know you ate too much.
