I have a HP VECTRA computer and i am tryin to get my HP scanner to install, but i have no disk. How can i get it to install?

You need to go to HP website and download drivers there.

Since you didn't provide a Model Number, this is the closest link I can provide for you

On the left side of the web page brought up by the link below, you will see "drivers and downloads."

When I download drivers and some other things, I choose to "save" the file to the desktop (you can cut/paste it elsewhere later). This way it will make life easier to install and you will have a copy of the driver if you ever need it again.

Note: When you do get the driver, you should install it first - before you connect the printer. When you connect the printer to the PC, it will tell you "new hardware found" and will then proceed to install the printer.

Because most softwares aren't comaptible with Windows 7 yet. Same prob happened with vista,. However, the hp website should have the drivers'update for it that you need to install. If they don't, then I'm sure they will make one because same thing happend when I first got vista when it came out.
