Some Chinese lady told me that if I eat 3 meals a day than I should poop 3 times a day. Sorry to be so open but I go only like every 2 days. What if theres food from Friday rotting in my stomach on like Tuesday or something? How gross! Should I see a doctor?

Most people average about one bowel movement per day, but there is a great deal of individual variation. If you consistently have a BM every other day or so, there is no pain, and they are not unusually hard or soft, it's probably just a normal variation. If you have problems like those I mentioned or others, you should definitely go to a doctor.

When in doubt, it's always better to go to the doctor and get his/her opinion!

I agree with the Chinese lady. If you eat enough fiber (fruits, vegetables and whole grains), you should have 2-3 BMs per day.
