No I don't think so, I heard you have to drink this nasty solution that the doctor has, and it'll flush it away

I had a tapeworm as a child and I passed it about a year later. When we went to the doctor he said that those types of worms can only live in the digestive tract for about a year before it needs a larger home; such as a pond or larger animal. What is more to be concerned with is when you have a tapeworm it is usually always visible through the skin so if you dont have it anymore it has more than likely already been passed. I am sure you have had antibotics at some point in the past years so that probaly passed or died by now. If you still think you have it go to a health food store and there are over the counter herbal treatments that will cleans the system of any worms or fungus. It is called an anti fungal treatment. Just a few pills you take for a week or so and wow its gone. Good luck

Lol, yes it does. Usually you get the tapeworm by swallowing the egg of the worm. If you ate the worm itself your stomach's acid will kill it, but if you eat the egg (usually by playing on the yard it gets under the nails and it's easy to be swallowed) the stomach acid can not kill it, so it passes to your intestine with is the prefect place for it to be hatched and grow because the pH of your intestine is 7-8 and there is plenty of nutrition, so the worm will feel like the heaven and reproduce like non other. It usually causes diarrhea, stomach discomfort. But when you take antibiotics it will kill them. So there is zero percent chance that you still have it. So you don't have it.

tape worms eventually grow so big that they can pop out of your throat. they also case severe fevers and displeasure because they eat all your vitamins, proteins, etc. i doubt you could have one for 16 years and not tell anyone. but to be sure, go see a doctor. better safe than sorry

it would take years and years for it to go away...it would come out of your butt. literaly, i'm not being funny. but the doc can get rid of it asap. you would know if it were gone...you would see it in the toilet. but that generally doesn't happen, you would be in bad bad pain and be really thin and you would want to go see a doc by that point, just due to gastro pain.

You really should talk to a doctor about that. At this point it's probably safe to say you're fine, but check with a doctor anyway.
