Long term Dejavu is insane, but short term Dejavu has been thoroughly explained.
But seeing as how I've experienced long term dejavu before, then yes.

Yes, because it is considered to be a relapse of the unconscious brain replaying a memory or a thought or a dream, and you make the connections in your conscious state. It's like having a dream and then having the dream come true. Your brain works like a photograph both with words and pictures. I.E you could hear someone say something a few days before and think nothing of it. It will be stored in the sub conscious part of the brain until re heard later.

Why not? The most likely explanation of déjà vu is that it is not an act of "precognition" or "prophecy", but rather an anomaly of memory; it is the impression that an experience is "being recalled". [citation needed] This explanation is substantiated by the fact that the sense of "recollection" at the time is strong in most cases, but that the circumstances of the "previous" experience (when, where and how the earlier experience occurred) are quite uncertain. Likewise, as time passes, subjects can exhibit a strong recollection of having the "unsettling" experience of déjà vu itself, but little to no recollection of the specifics of the event(s) or circumstance(s) they were "remembering" when they had the déjà vu experience. In particular, this may result from an overlap between the neurological systems responsible for short-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the present) and those responsible for long-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the past). Many theorists believe that the memory anomaly occurs when one's conscious mind has a slight delay in receiving perceptive input. In other words, the unconscious mind perceives current surroundings before the conscious mind does. This causes one's conscious self to perceive something that is already in one's memory, even though it was in one's memory only a split second before it was perceived.

I would say yes, I have a number of occasions where I have defintitely had the feeling, too many to consider it just a one-off event.
Scientists I am sure will disagree as the theory has not yet been proven as I understand it, but who cares, i feel what I feel!

Yes I do. I have experienced it many times. It's nothing to be worried about. All it is, is the feeling that you have been some where or done a particular thing even though you haven't.

Man, every time I am about to undergo a major change in my life I start having deja vu several weeks before the "event". I have no choice but to acknowledge it as real for me.
