Get something long, thin and study.Nothing sharp.Take a piece a clean thin fabric(like a sheet or pillowcase) that you don't need.Wrap it around what ever you found to use.It has to be thin enough to fit in there. You can put a little baby oil or moisturizer on there also.Don't try to use anything that will break off or get stuck. My kids went thru three different casts in two years during there roller blading years.Good Luck!

I've had many casts, but fortunately no surgery. Usually the skin under a cast starts itching after one or two weeks, depending on how you care. In your case I think that the itching is caused by the healing wound of the surgery. So don't try to put in needles or other stuff to scratch. You have to find other ways to releave the itching a little bit at least. I had a certain success by scatching a different areas, you other leg for example. Try no to concentrate on the itching...dificult task lol Good luck and a fast rocovery

don't ever start scratching it with a pen or hanger, that will just increase the itching. the best is really to get distraction.

If you have a open wound CALL YOUR DOCTOR. You do not want to make it worse.
If not...go or call a drug store and ask the pharmacist. They are always full of excellent advise.
Just do not do anything that will prolong your healing time.
Take care of you

When I broke my leg, I used a chopstick and scratched my leg with it. It felt soooo good.
