Could be a few things:
1. Worms
2. Food intolerance / allergy causing irritable bowel
3. He has eaten something he shouldn't have and now has upset intestinal tract
4. Virus
Take a sample of his feces to vet, its the only way you will find out whats wrong

Try Eukenuba Response LB canned food. A freind of mine with a cat that had chronic diarrhea for 4 years tried everything - food and medication. Then she switched the cat food to Eukenuba Resonse LB and it cured the problem. Amazing. You may want to see if this works for your kitty.

ok, I'm assuming that you can't afford a vet? go to a local feed store and ask for a piperazine wormer and a product called albon. It is an intestinal antibiotic, give this to your cat as directed and be sure to keep fluids down it untill this med takes effect. look up coccidia on the web.

Please-quick-look in the yellow pages of your local phone book, see if there is an emergency vet in the area-that cat may easily get dehydrated-and needs water, and might need an IV source of water for a little bit. If there is no emergency vet, please call your local shelter, and ask if they have a dr. that could see your cat asap. Please keep a close eye on that baby-take care.

it sounds like worms...not the kind that over the counter wormers can kill...the vet can give you a worming med that will do the trick...however, since there are so many thing that can cause diahrea, from change of food, to rat poison, toxic plants, insect bites, antifreeze...etc...it really is best to have him tested first. it is worth the cost if you really love him.

It might be a dietary problem. However, before changing his diet, you should consult with a veterinarian. In many cases, diarrhea is caused by insufficient absorption of liquids in the large intestine, so that might be the source of the problem.

Please get this cat to the vet, now! Don't wait any longer. The longer you wait, the worse off this cat will get. Only your vet will know what is wrong and will be able to treat him accordingly. Take every ones advise and get your cat to the vet.

Go to vet. Feed boiled chicken w/rice (mashed together) & offer water until then. He can get dehydrated quick, so watch him closely, go to ER vet if necessary. Good luck....

Sounds like he has worms.
Take him to the vet, get him de-wormed. They'll give him some medicine to kill the worms.
