Ganesh, the great Hindu god of luck, remover of obstacles, and general benevolence, has done some wonderful things in my life - even though I am neither Hindu nor Indian.

Has anyone else had a wonderful experience with this deity?

I am not interested in hearing from Christians talking about "false" gods (no such thing) or atheists talking about the "non-existence" of gods (prove it). This is a positive question, not nutcase-bait.

Not really, although I am a hindu. But may I know how did He help you or how you came across Him?

But there was this phenomenon which happened many years ago.. people all around the world were saying that the statue version of him was drinking the milk offered to him. Well, my relatives did tried and it was true to a certain extent.

Yup. I agree with you.. i hate it when people say you should not pray to idols or false gods. I mean like as if we Hindus have been going around telling people of other religions that you should not pray to so and so.

Damn this people will never change.

I have felt the power! When I go to Dunkin Donuts I feel the power as the Hindu hands me an extra doughnut.

I believe that the IPU has brought me more luck than Ganesh. I have never had luck from Ganesh, I think I will try it tomorrow.
