You are blinded! Can't you see the true god? The invisible pink unicorn of course!

She has granted most everything I have asked for, like me finding a water fountain when I was thirsty, Or my cut healing, She also helped me find my cat, a dollar, a VERY useful piece of twine.

If that isnt enough proof for you, just look around, everything was made by her! From the trees to the rocks.

I have faith that she is pink, but I logically know she is invisible.

Christians...can you disprove anthing I have just said? I'm claiming in right, and that your holy book is wrong. Can you disprove anything I have said without claiming "well the bible said ______!" since I claim that the IPU exists, your bible means nothing to me, nothing at all!

So christians...can you disprove me? And If you are intelligent enough you will get the point I am making....hopfully

By the way, the burden of proof is on christians. Athiests are'nt claiming a magical sky dude is watching everyone, Christians are though.
And a few major points of christainty are flawed

http://www.rationalrevolution.net/articles/jesus_myth_history.htm

The key points are:

* The Gospel of Mark was the first story of Jesus that was written, and all others are dependant on it
* The Gospel of Mark shows very clear signs of being written as an allegorical fiction
* Virtually every detail of the life of Jesus comes from "Old Testament" scriptures
* Some of the details of the life of Jesus are based on mistranslations of the Hebrew scriptures
* Jesus' crucifixion on Passover defies historical believability, yet makes perfect sense metaphorically
* The earliest writings about Jesus, from Paul and others, contain no details of his life
* Many statements in the letters of Paul only make sense if Paul does not view Jesus Christ as a historical person.

Ill add more.

2007-02-13 15:02:22 · update #2

* There is not one single writing from or about Jesus during his supposed lifetime
* Philo, a prolific Jewish writer who lived from 20 BCE to 50 CE, wrote extensively about the political and theological movements throughout the Mediterranean, and his views foreshadowed Christian theology, yet he never once wrote anything about Jesus. Not only this, but he actually wrote about political conflicts between the Jews and Pontius Pilate in Judea
* All of the non-Christian references to Jesus can be shown to have either been introduced later by Christian scribes or were originally based on Christian claims
* The Gospels make many claims that are contradicted by the historical record
* There is no evidence of any knowledge of a tomb of Jesus (empty or occupied) prior to the Gospel stories
* There were many conflicting beliefs about who Jesus Christ was in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd centuries, including beliefs that he had never existed on earth "in the flesh"

I see...a few of you did'nt get the meaning of this...I was using the christians own argument against them...I find must of your responses quite funny.

Do you know realise what I have to deal with? Don't you see the INSANITY in it?

I made an arguement with the same amount of evidence as any other god, none of you could prove it wrong...which you can't because that's the point.

A few of you just focused on my bad spelling and totally ignored my argument.

It seem's most christians are molded exactly one after the other...just like good sheeple should be.

mel_leno, I need to tell you something....TALKING IN CAPS DOES NOT MAKE YOU SEEM MORE INTELLIGENT.

And Creationist, there is a big difference between creation, and evolution

Evolution has 150+ years of evidence, fossils, the vairiety of spieces(sorry for the spelling again), "Tiktaalik roseae is a broad-headed, bug-eyed sarcopterygian fish with limb-like fins (or fin-like limbs?) that fills the (already pretty small) gap between the tetrapod-like fish Panderichthys and early, fish-like tetrapods like Acanthostega and Ichthyostega". Evolution is not out against god, evolution is just a theory explaining the diversity of life.

Creationists well....they base their scientific beliefs from the bible. the same book that thought the world was flat, and that PI was 3.
I'm sorry but I would rather trust the scientists that have fossils and tranasitional fossils, DNA, different but very closly related species(the finches, and other birds for example).
The creationists only have a book

I'm not Christian, and I can't disprove you. Of course the IPU exists. What else is powerful enough to be both pink AND invisible at the same time?!
Beware of the Purple Oyster of Doom!!!

While I don't think I can actually disprove anything you've said, I do disagree with what you are insinuating. Neither I, nor anyone else, can prove the Old Testament (the first half of the Bible) is historically true. However, there is factual, historical evidence that Jesus lived and died true to the Christian Bible.

I consider myself a Christian, but for a long time I was very skeptical on a lot of things. It was when I attened a Jesuit University (not being jesuit myself) that I learned that the Bible is NOT the only account we have of jesus. There are many accounts from Jesus' time attesting to his life, and in some cases, even to his death and ressurection.

Because it was a few years ago that I was at school I cannot recall any particular accounts, but I do know that if you were to search google or yahoo for historical accounts of Jesus you would find more than you could read.

Okay, let's suppose that your Invisible pink unicorn exists as your god and Puff the Magic Dragon exists as your Satan.

I'm a Christian and I can prove that Jesus existed and you can read all about it in the writings of a man called Josephus and the history of Rome - such as the emperors who feared Christians and their beliefs - Caligula and Nero spring to mind as two then there are those like Justin and Constantinople -all who changed the history of the world by their belief in the existence of a man named Jesus and writings of His apostles and His disciples as well as all that Jesus stood for and the good He did in His lifetime. Dispute that.

Dude I just found an interesting fact. I believe that the spoon evolved into a fork. There is only one problem at first I didn't have the "missing link" that I needed to conclude my theory. But then while in France I was introduced to the spork. This must prove that my theory is correct.... disprove me.

Dude and as far as I can tell, you were lost in the evolutionary process. But dude don't worry some day I will get you all. You see I believe that I am the highest evolved being on the planet. And one day I'll take over and eliminate you all except for a female, who will become my wife.

Disprove me. I mean clearly I am better than you. You can't disprove that because if I am really higher on the evolution chain, then I can tell when your logic is flawed but you can't yet because you're not smart enough! But don't worry soon I'll put you out of your painful life and you won't remember a thing.

And if you are intelligent enough you will get the point I am making....hopefully

Many evolutionists and atheists alike have - throughout history - shunned Scripture and the lessons learned therein by claiming that Creation Science isn't testable, repeatable, observable, and so forth. As this is true about certain aspects of Creation Science, this is also true about certain aspects of Evolutionary "Science". One cannot deny the overwhelming amounts of assumptions and un-justifiable dedications that materialists demonstrate.

Both Creation and Evolutionism start with philosophical assumptions. Evolutionists (traditionally) start with the assumption that God has no intervention in this world. This isn't a testable conclusion; they didn't come to this conclusion by science. Creationists have the philosophical position that God has partaken in the history of this earth, and that He has revealed the True history of the earth through His infallible Word.

As you can see, both Creation and Evolutionism start with philosophical premises. There are many aspects of the Creation Theory that are indeed testable also. For instance, the Bible states that earth was created roughly 6,000 years ago1, in six literal days2. Evolutionism claims that the earth came into existence some 3-5 billion years ago3, over a very long and tedious process of formation. Both of these teachings can be tested to some extent. It's important to also emphasize the knowledge difference between fallible man (who is a fallen creature), and the Omniscient God, Creator and sustainer of all.

When man inspects the earth, the biosphere, the world around us, we formulate hypothesis as to how things came to be as they are today. After data is brought in and analyzed, we can test our hypothesis and see what outcomes we're given. Creationists already have the Truth; the earth was created roughly 6,000 years ago1. Evolutionists wish to construct their own truth; the earth formed slowly over billions of years. Both of these are subject to the same scientific method. When we observe the outpourings of data rendered from the science, we can see that the evidence greatly supports the idea of a young-earth (6,000 years old).

Now, we can see that both Creation and Evolutionism have non-testable aspects about them, and also testable aspects about them as well. Creation Science Evangelism wishes not to invite Creation into public schools, but only to have incorrect information extracted from taxpayer-purchased textbooks. Schools have a legal, as well as moral obligation to remain truthful to our students. Unfortunately, many schools today have veered from this path and have accepted voodoo-science as part of their curriculum. Material such as the gill slits, the horse evolution, the human evolution, the evolution of the giraffe, and so much more are still presented to children as facts, and done so dogmatically.

When will America - as well as the rest of the World - wake up and smell the indoctrination. Millions of children everyday are being presented with information that is testable, has been tested, and is now scratched off as untrue in the scientific literature. Even our SAT's are presenting incorrect information to our fervent studiers. Both Creation and Evolutionism are testable in certain areas and un-testable in others, both have been tested, and only one prevails - Creation. We were fearfully and wonderfully created, and we will soon stand before He that creates and give an account for the life we lived. Will you be ready?

Freedom of religion is the great part of the American dream. No one can prove you wrong, or right for that matter.
We all know the stories of drunks seeing pink elephants.
If your IPU exists for you, it is your world, and not a person will hold it against you. A person must believe in something. It's your world boss. Take it to the limit.

If you could back up your claim with 5000 years of consistant information about The Great Pink One, I might pay attention. Otherwise I wouldn't waste both of our time by trying to prove or disprove your claim.

i was raised christian. But I've found that I'm too open minded of other beliefs to keep full faith in only "god". You made a REALLY good point. cool way to look at it. and your right! thanks for posting this. the invisible pink unicorn is no more believable than "god" so why should one sound more fictional?

The onus is not on the Christian to disprove it. As a Christian, I know God exists... I don't have to prove it to you. My belief was based on faith. Faith is an action... If you believe in physics then you know a pendulum's arc shortens with every swing. Faith is sitting in a chair with a cinder block tied to a chain pendulum and starting it's swing at your face; and you not moving because you know on it's return it won't hit you. Your fear is faith, I don't care what you believe, I'm sure of my soul... how's yours doing with that unicorn thing. Would you bet your soul on it?

That goes towards every religion not just Christianity! Can muslims prove that Allah is god, and muhammed was a prophet? Can Buddhists clam Buddah was alive, or can jewish people prove jesus didnt exist? You have a point to your ideology ;)

you're right. proving Christianity by using Scripture is like using a word in its definition.

there are a ton of evidences of God's existence; however, you don't seem interested in them. Sorry that all of the historical, archaeological, scientific, and cultural evidence isn't enough. if you want to really research it, then research it. if not, then go enjoy your IPU, i am sure that it will help you lead a life capable of providing you true fulfillment and purpose.
