My boyfriend has been on this big health and fitness kick in the past few months and has been taking some vitamins, eating protein bars and taking the suppliment Creatine. He had a bad car accident last night and in the hospital had CT scans that said he may have had a small seizure. He has never had seizures in his life! I think this Creatine may be the cause of this and other side effects. Anyone know about seizures caused by Creatine? Or similar incidences?

No creatine won't cause that, unless it's spiked with something else. Sounds like he got bonked on the head or had some other neurological incident.

Creatine also occurs naturally in the body.

The seizure shouldn't have been caused by the creatine. Creatine is also present in red meats.

There is no way creatine could have caused a seizure. Creatine builds muscles, it doesn't affect the CNS (in any way I know). And just because your boyfriend did not have a history of seizures doesn't mean he didn't have them. My uncle had epilepsy for twenty years before he got his first seizure.
