I had very bad pain on my right side for awhile. Almost every night at about 3 am I would be on the floor in pain. ER doctors kept saying that I was ok. After I got much sicker and was admitted to the hospital, they discovered that my gall bladder wasn't functioning. No gall stones or any other problems. It is really a rare problem though. Likely it sounds like you have already had several scans, so they probably already looked at your appendix. Perhaps also an ultrasound of your gall bladder may be recommended if you seem at risk for gall stones. Risk factors include high blood pressure, overweight, and high cholesterol. It could even be irritable bowel syndrome, which is usually a diagnosis of exclusion. Really you cannot get any good answers online. It is important to know many other things like exactly where the pain is, what makes it better, your medical history, etc. It seems like your doctors are adequately examining. I'm sure you will have a solution soon. Good luck.

Every now and again I will get a burning sensation in the same spot. Only after exercising for a long period of time, never for no apparant reason. I'd have your gall bladder checked if I were you. :)
Good luck

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Consult a doctor if it persists. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
