If anal sex prohibited by Christian teachings then what about infertile couples?

I once asked why and they say that sex should be used to procreate so anal sex doesnt allow for that therefore it's bad. Is it because one you may have a chance of conception (~0) but in the other one it's a definite zero? Could you just switch at the moment of truth to comply?

Oh Lord, not more of the "anal sex causes cancer" garbage! Those stories about anal leading to cancer or a loss of rectal control are nothing but old wives tales comparable to saying that masturbation causes blindness. Anal sex is not harmful to the human body if you know what you're doing and then it can be very enjoyable.
Look, if you both enjoy anal then there isn't anything wrong with either you or it. It isn't forbidden by any of the mainstream religions, although I can't speak for the holy roller types that try to dictate every aspect of your personal lives. So long as nobody is being forced into doing something that they don't want I say no harm and no foul. Sex, including anal and oral sex, is an expression of love and how can an expression of love between two consenting adults be wrong?

Just as an FYI though I really have asked other questions aside from those related to anal sex but a big percentage of those never made it to the board. While I am not christian, I was raised that way. I've since found my own path, but I can tell you most christian marriage books I've seen are sort of fuzzy on the concept. Most of them are more concerned with people doing what they want and what feels good (as long as it's within marriage, they say).
There are a lot of people who try the scare tactics, mostly because they don't know any better, or are scared and ashamed of their own bodies. They're the ones who hate homosexuality, or only want people to have sex in the missionary position and only to have children. If you don't listen to them, and listen to what your mind and body tell you, you'll have a much more fulfilling life.
Your question is the same as the argument against same-sex marriage. Marriage is only for people having children, right? Well, my wife and I decided not to have kids, does that mean we have to live alone?
Long story short, try everything at least once (and probably twice).
Do your research first, and always pay attention to what your body is telling you.
Oh, and...NEVER switch back to vaginal while having anal sex, even if you're trying to comply with whatever god's laws are (this week, at least). While anal can be a fun thing, you really need to wash things off before you change orifices.

Whoever told you that was incorrect. Anal sex is forbidden because it is HARMFUL to the human body. Go to wikipedia and type in "rectal cancer." You'll learn a lot. You'll also learn it's one of the leading causes of death for homosexual men in this country.

God gave us sex to enjoy in the marriage bond. Anything else is adultery.
