I went to a doctor, and he gave me a shot in butt, and it cleared right up, but he had no idea what it was. Has any one else ever had this, it was not hives, or JUST pimples, it came in one day, and went when I got the shot. I can not find it on line ANYWHERE...

Sounds like contact dermatitis, you may be allergic to something you are in contact with and because we sweat around the neck it comes up there. Maybe a hair product or perfume? Do you put anything on your neck that you don't put anyplace else. also it can be as simple as the detergent you wash clothes in. I can't change mine. I use one brand so I don't have this problem, I did once and it took a while to figure it out. You can buy some benadryl cream and put it on the area thet breaks out and take a capsule at night it should keep it from flaring up. Any antihistamine will work, they can make you drowsy so take what you take at night. It will keep you from the shot hopefully and you can figure out what is causing it. Try switching hair product that touches the neck or anything else you think it might be for a few weeks and see if it goes away. It's a process of elimination really.

It sounds like an allergic reaction. Your doctor probably gave you an epinephrine shot. It will clear up fast. But you have to think about what has changed in your diet, environment, laundry soaps, body washes, shampoos ect. I had a friend who was allergic to peanuts and developed a rash across the neck, arms and shoulders.

Hope it helps

It could have been acne. You should go to another doctor. It does not sound like your doctor is good. He gave you a shot without even knowing what it was? Try a dermatologist. They specialize in skin.

this is better than probably a warmth rash. sparkling it on a regular basis. save it dry and funky. Dusting powder may be used to boost convenience, yet stay away from utilising ointments or creams-they save the exterior heat and moist and would make the condition worse.

It could be an extreme case of prickly heat or an allergic reaction to something you came in contact with. It could have been something simple like perfume or cologne someone was wearing.

Sounds like a reaction to perfume. Could be KP, or Keratosis Piliaris, but not likely.
