You might want to see a dentist. There seem to be a lot of reasons. The fact that it suddenly happened may have a connection to flouride in your water supply.

Here's what I found when I searched...

WHITE SPOTS CAN BE CAUSED BY EXCESSIVE INTAKE OF FLUORIDE, BUT ONLY WHILE YOU WERE STILL YOUNG IE BEFROE YOUR ADULT TEETH GREW OUT. IF THIS WAS THE CASE IT MEANS THOSE LESIONS WERE ALWAYS THERE AND YOU ONLY GOT TO NOTICE THEM NOW (CHECK YUOR OLD PHOTOGRAPS TO SEE IF THEY MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THERE PREVIOUSLY). THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM..ONLY AN ESTHETIC ONE AND IF IT BOTHERS YOU THEN THE DENTIST CAN HAVE THEM FILLED TO MATCH YOUR TEETH.

THE OTHER REASON WHY YOU CAN DEVELOP WHITE SPOTS IS IF YOU HAD BRACES RECENTLY, SOMETIMES WHITE SPOT LESIONS CAN OCCUR AROUNT THE BRACES IF YOU ORAL HYGIENE WAS NOT TOO GOOD. OR IF YOU DID NOT GET BRACES, AND IF YOUR ORAL HYGIENE WAS ALSO NOT TOO GOOD, THIS IS AND EARLY SIGN OF DECALCIFICATION IE START OF A CARIOUS (ROTTEN LESION) ON YOUR TOOTH.

EITHER WAY HAVE IT CHECKED OUT AT YOUR DENTIST

it is the side effect of swallowing a toothpaste containing fluorine.
(maybe when you were smaller, you swallowed it)
it's nothing serious though. don't worry...
